The Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam™ (also know as PACE®) became available in 1996 and was developed by a professional testing firm, along with paralegals, lawyers, legal educators and advocates, to assess the knowledge, skills and ability of experienced paralegals. The PACE® handbook is available as a PDF download and contains valuable information regarding the requirements, costs, testing topics and application process. You can also download a copy of the PACE® application.  The PACE® is administered online by Prometric which has locations throughout the United States and Canada.
