Topic: Litigation and update on SCOTUS ruling that limits worker harassment claims
Brian Burbrink is an employment litigation attorney who represents employers accused of employment discrimination in individual and collective actions, including cases involving Title VII, the ADEA, the FMLA, the FLSA, and the ADA. He defends businesses against employment-related and civil rights claims in state and federal court and before agencies including the EEOC, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, and the Indiana Civil Rights Commission. In addition to litigation, Brian advises clients on litigation avoidance counseling. He counsels employers on proper employee policies and handling the day-to-day issues that confront human resources professionals. Brian regularly reviews and creates employment agreements, employee handbooks and other personnel policies.
Brian serves on the Executive Committee of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Labor and Employment Division. He is also actively involved in pro bono efforts and recently sought asylum on behalf of an unaccompanied alien child from Ethiopia.
