Predictive Coding: Separating the Myth from Reality

Predictive Coding is the hottest topic in e-discovery because it dramatically increases efficiency and accuracy.  But with everyone jumping on the Predictive Coding bandwagon, the marketing claims have outstripped the reality, muddying the marketplace with confusion and inaccurate information.  The goal of the program is to provide a clear understanding of what Predictive Coding is, how it works and how law firms and their clients can benefit from utilizing technology to change the economics of document review.

Guest Speaker:

David Collier, Regional Manager - Law Firm e-Discovery

Dave supports Law Firm clients throughout the Midwest with Recommind’s Axcelerate On-Demand and licensed software solutions.  Prior to joining Recommind, Dave spent 6 years as a Regional Manager for Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions.  Dave was responsible for supporting Law Firm, Corporate and Government clients in the Midwest.  Before PBLS, Dave was Chicago Team Sales Lead for Merrill Corporation primarily assisting Law Firm clients.  Dave’s career in Legal Services started in Chicago with Equivalent Data in 2000.

Dave holds BA degrees in Journalism and History from Indiana University – Bloomington.  He resides in Vernon Hills, IL with his wife, Maureen, and four children – Charlie, Paige, Ben and Graham.  In his spare time, Dave coaches youth soccer, baseball and softball.

Recommind is best known for their patented Predictive Coding Technology which uses machine-learning to significantly automate review and issue coding.  The technology consistently reduces review budgets by 50-70% over linear workflows while producing higher levels of accuracy and consistency.
