Matthew Dodson

Matthew Dodson is an accomplished legal professional based in Indianapolis, known for his unwavering commitment to justice and advocacy for individual rights. As a Commissioner with the Marion County Circuit Court and a securities arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Matthew demonstrates his dedication to upholding justice. He also serves as the Managing Attorney at Dodson Law Firm, LLC, where he handles a wide range of legal matters encompassing family law, civil litigation, criminal cases, and mediation. Matthew's experience extends to presenting on crucial topics related to human trafficking, specifically focusing on the trafficking of children. Moreover, he has a notable background as an Independent Hearing Officer for the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) and as a Town Attorney for Rocky Ripple. Matthew is admitted to practice law in Indiana, including both the Southern and Northern District Courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition to his extensive experience, Matthew has also shared his knowledge by teaching courses on Constitutional law and Ethics. Beyond his professional endeavors, he actively contributes to community service and pro bono initiatives, aiming to make a positive impact in and out of the courtroom.
