October 21, 2015 monthly meeting.
Guest Speaker:
Nick Fankhauser and Paula Werle
DoxPop
Doxpop is an Indiana company that aggregates public court and land records information into an easily searched database. Doxpop started with a single county in 2002 and since then has expanded to cover 88 of the 92 counties.
Our speaker, Nick Fankhauser, is one of the founders of Doxpop. Prior to starting Doxpop, Nick worked for 10 years as IT Director for Wayne County, where he realized the value of the information locked away in government databases and formed a plan to make public information actually available to the public. Doxpop is the result of that plan.
Paula Werle joined Doxpop two years ago, assisting in Customer Support and Business Development. Paula brings a strong background of accounting, auditing, and data processing to the Doxpop team, assisting in various roles.
Nick and Paula will show us how to use Doxpop in our case investigations, how to keep our court calendars updated, identify marketing leads, and other advanced functions.
