Angela Davis is a judge of the Marion County Superior Court in Indiana. She was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.

Education:
1995 – Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, Doctor of Jurisprudence.
1990 – DePauw University, Bachelor of Arts; Major: Economics; Minor: Political Science.

Judicial Experience:
Pro Tem Judge in Marion County Criminal Courts involving a variety of issues
and cases.

Significant Legal Accomplishments:
2000–2013: Sole practitioner, McClure, McClure, & Davis, practicing in the area
of criminal defense. Handled major felony cases for the past eighteen (18) years, including hundreds of jury and court trials.

Past and Present Memberships: Past Precinct Committee Person Lawrence 31, Board member of Forest Manor Multi-Service Center, Board member of the Lake Kessler wood Homeowners Association, Health Net Board of Directors, Health Net Foundation Board,
Soroptimist International, Operation Christmas Child, Volunteer for local charities.

Personal Statement:
I am compassionate, hardworking, and committed to rendering a fair and just
result in all cases that come before me. I am married to Grover Davis, and we
have a ten (10) year old son. I practice primarily in Marion County, but also in the surrounding counties. I have learned that judges should be more aware of the needs of the lawyers who practice before them and defendants appearing before them.
