Angela Davis is a judge of the Marion County Superior Court in Indiana. She was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.
Education: 1995 – Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, Doctor of Jurisprudence. 1990 – DePauw University, Bachelor of Arts; Major: Economics; Minor: Political Science. Judicial Experience: Pro Tem Judge in Marion County Criminal Courts involving a variety of issues and cases. Significant Legal Accomplishments: 2000–2013: Sole practitioner, McClure, McClure, & Davis, practicing in the area of criminal defense. Handled major felony cases for the past eighteen (18) years, including hundreds of jury and court trials.

Personal Statement: I am compassionate, hardworking, and committed to rendering a fair and just result in all cases that come before me. I am married to Grover Davis, and we have a ten (10) year old son. I practice primarily in Marion County, but also in the surrounding counties. I have learned that judges should be more aware of the needs of the lawyers who practice before them and defendants appearing before them.
